We also believe that everyone should have access to sanitation, hygiene and safe water at home.This campaign enabled us to reach out to more than 1lakh people across Baramati with support from 10 partner organisations and 1000 individuals. Today the outbreak of COVID19 (coronavirus) has caused a global health emergency. WHO (World Health Organisation) recommends that we regularly and thoroughly clean our hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Hand-washing is a simple yet an effective and a lifesaving habit. Habitat for Humanity aims to raise awareness on handwash and healthy hygiene habits to protect the communities we serve at the grass root level enabling them build resilience and equipping them with the right knowledge to protect themselves and their families. We will also distribute to doctors and paramedical teams to a ‘Habitat Hygiene Kit’ consisting of a mask, soap, hand sanitizer, instructional material on hand wash and other personal hygiene items. We are raising resources to support vulnerable people and communities during these testing times. Keeping in view the guidelines released by the Central Government and State Governments, we will not be organising any mass gatherings. As much as we wish to be on ground to help and protect the communities, we understand the sensitive situation on ground.

About School

We are breaking down the barriers to education by helping poor and vulnerable children – including those who are living in conflict and disaster zones. This school's name as Royal Public School is founded on June 2017. The School is running with morethan 80 student and 5 teachers. This is where Children in Baramati are facing the basic challenges. Poverty and education are inextricably linked, because people living in poverty may stop going to school so they can work, which leaves them without literacy and numeracy skills they need to further their careers. Their children, in turn, are in a similar situation years later, with little income and few options but to leave school and work. Our aims to help families escape the cycle of poverty through various educational and livelihood programs. Many times, we learn by listening to communities about their specific needs and working to fulfill them.
